Overseas Pilots

We use the air space and share it with other aircraft. IPPI Card ( Not required )

The IPPI Card is an international sporting license issued by the FAI to establish the link between Member countries through a single card and recognizable by all.
The pilot proficiency international information Card provides a reference standard by which all national programmes of classification can be compared. When you travel abroad this card, along with the permit to fly issued by the Free Flight Federation of the country of origin gives instructors and others responsible for flight operations, places for hang gliding and paragliding or an easy way to check your level of pilot experience before approving the flight activities IPPI card was introduced in 1992.
Since then, the national pilots and associations around the world have benefited from their internationally recognised standards.
The international Gliding Commission (CIVL) encourages all drivers to use the IPPI card

What is the European health insurance card (EHIC)?
Is a document that ensures the provision of health care when beneficiaries of a social security system of a Member State of the European Union, European economic area or Switzerland temporarily moving in this space.
Identifies the holder. Is a single model, common to the whole space of the European Union, European economic area and Switzerland.

How can I get the EHIC?
Through Social security or your health subsystem.
See the Health services and Social Protection of their country of origin, and obtain the relevant card.
Social Security Recipients on the Internet, with social security identification number (NISS), can ask the EHIC on page the Internet, through Social Security http://www.seg-social.pt/Directly, with keyword or citizen card to access the service (registration is required).
